First Baptist Church Of Sparta
G Force
G-force is a fun-filled, spiritual adventure that engages children in Bible study and worship experiences. It is uniquely inviting, appealing, and engaging for everyone involved. G-force allows children to encounter God personally each week.

G-force uses a format laid out in four segments: Ignition, Velocity, PowerCel, and Re-entry. Each segment presents information in a variety of different ways to ensure that your child is given the opportunity to learn according to their strengths.

Ignition: introductory games and relationship building time.

Velocity: Large-group worship time highlighting the main point through skits, games, music, Bible stories, memory verses, prayer and much more.

PowerCel: Younger and older children's small-group time for Bible study, games, and more personal.

Re-Entry: Large-group review of the main point, memory verse, and Bible story through songs and games.

The G-FORCE ministry has a fresh outlook on reaching kids for Christ, and is committed to excellence in teaching children.

G-FORCE is a place where kids can come together and be taught valuable checkpoints for living a Christian Life. More than just teaching good values, we back them up by supporting them with scripture. We teach kids that Jesus Christ says for us to live a certain way.

Children learn that God is our ultimate athority and that we do "good" because he says for us to. We also learn what "good" is by examining the word of God.

Please come visit our G-Force Ministry each Sunday at 10 am. We welcome you and your children. They will experience fun, games, music, food, small group time, and worship.

A typical children’s service lasts 45 minutes with large group worship sandwiched between two small group times. Two adults -- a host and a co-host -- lead the large group while other volunteers support the small groups. The music, on CD, doesn’t have your typical child-like voices - instead, simple lyrics are sung by adults, with contemporary style arrangements. The service is fast-paced and supported by a DVD that provides animation behind text such as the week’s "main point" and memory verse.

Power Cel collector cards contain colorful, fun activities used during small-group time and are taken home to share with family. Parents receive the Parent Connection, a weekly newsletter the church prints out from a CD-ROM. The newsletter includes the week’s memory verse, main point, Bible story reference, parent article and a family activity that builds on what the children learned.

The kids’ excitement about church is so contagious it often draws parents in as volunteers.

We love seeing the kids run to their seats for worship from small group time.
